Pedestrian and cyclist bridge over the Raunheim oil harbour

The s-shaped pedestrian and cyclist bridge across the oil harbour in Raunheim closes one of the last gaps in the network of cycle paths to the left of the river Main between Frankfurt and Mainz. The l-shaped geometry of the bridge does justice both to the safety requirements of the Frankfurt Airport large tank storage depot and to the visual connection from the superstructure over the Main into the surrounding nature
