Uyo Township Stadium

The Godswill Akpabio International Stadium is an emblem of the city of Uyo in the south-east of Nigeria. The arena, which has a capacity of 30,000 spectators, stands out in particular thanks to its unusual façade. On behalf of Julius Berger International, MCE planned, fabricated and assembled the complex steel structure, which forms the foundation for the stadium’s acrylic “outer skin”.
